No, same amount of work.

Most of the work on these kits is the removal of the factory brackets. The welding only took 30 minutes or so

I think it is high after coughing up all the money for long arm kit. If it is done right when they are finished with it; then it might be worth it. I wouldn't pay that much.

Hi,
4Wheelparts (Charlotte, NC) installed my Teraflex 4" short arm install plus installed front and rear RE drive lines in 9 hours with alignment, I am not sure what the man power difference is between a short and long arm.

Typically a LA kit can take 2 days to do.

Call Justin up at OffRoad Outfitters, he charges $960 to install the TF kit. Gussets and alignment would be another $140. Plus, you can play around in his rock garden when he's finished.

I agree with that if your talking about an average person doing it out of a garage.

While I'm not saying I'm a pro but it only took me about 18hrs or so. That's with two trips to the urgent care center.

However if it's a pro I don't think it should take that long. Just my personal opinion though

Thumbs up

Do what you and your friends are confident in doing...
That way when you break, if it ever happens... lol
You'll know what you need to do.
Plus, you'll take more pride in the build too.
But don't do anything you don't feel confident in.. ex:Welding...
Too much at stake. Good luck...

Install everything minus the arms/brackets yourself. Then have 4wheel parts install the brackets/arms or have them do those first and you install everything else.

These seems like the way to get it done.
