My TJ was totaled in an accident, so I picked up an '07 2dr Rubi this week. Loving it so far!

royp039, my rubi wheels/tires will probably be up for sale soon.

<crickets>

I'm reliving my sportbike days. All the cool places to ride (e.g. the Rockies, Black Hills, Smokies, Ozarks) are at least a day's drive or a lot further. Those areas also tend to be nice places to wheel too.

Why can't Omaha be on the west end of the state rather than the east?

Born in Nebraska, live about 3 miles into SE South Dakota now. I would be up for a trip across the bridge if you folks get something going sometime.

I haven't posted in this section for a while. The reason is that most of the 4x4 talk in this area is going on at this site instead- http://pioneer4wheelers.org/

Feel free to check it out. They have events and get togethers and trail runs. Several coming up.

Just found this Nebraska thread. I'm in Papillion, around 72nd & Cornhusker. Got my first jeep back in March - love it!

Omaha here also. Does anyone know of good off road spots nearby? I found one spot around Dodge and Skyline out in Elkhorn but didn't get a chance to venture around the area and check it out too much. It's got a wicked drop at the start of the trail though and I don't think my Jeep is ready for that yet...just bought it in July and I've got nothing on it. I can only do light off road for now
