I'll post here about every 5 days for an update. as long as I know you guys are here everyday for me to come read stuff, Im ok. The pioneer4wheelers group went and left me over Memorial day weekend, a whole weekend without a post. I thought i was going stir crazy........lets not do that again! LOL

Ok, a little update on the jk.

Removed the rear headrests....




Girly'd it up a little by painting my fire extinguisher light purple
(not a good pic, but same color as my shock boots )....







And guess what I ordered today ....(hint)




upgraded to the gas shocks

is that the 6.5 inch lift, looks like fun


i finally found some mud to try the jeep out in. was up by Mason City, IA they had a lot of flooding going on so there was a lot of roads under water.



dogs didn't want to get to far away from the jeep in case went out driving around again

So did your wife have a good time today? I wish I didnt have to cut out so early but Dads birthday and all. I did make one pass through the prairie befor I took off, and still came home with quite a bit of mud. I bet you all took your fair share. I know the wifey had a camera with her, so bring on the pics!

Yep, its a 6.5 long arm. Now just trying to figure out what tires to go with.

She had a pretty good time, her son had an eye appointment in Omaha on monday. While she was over there she called me and said she was about to take a 4dr rubicon out for a test drive. I think she's hooked and would have driven if mine would have been an auto. She would like to find a steel blue 4dr w/mygig, auto and the hardtop. She found one at woodhouse in Blair with everything she wants. She don't know it but this one has the heavy duty suspension (d44 in rear and d30 up front). May have to see what kind of trade they would give us for our 07 grand cherokee.
