There is also a large state park right next door where there is plenty of camping. You could also camp near the lake on my lawn.

FYI, I'm still in as well. I'm moving to Enid this weekend - so I'll be officially a hillbilly. But, as we get closer I'll give everyone directions to my place..its right down the street from Hogans and all this stuff. Disney isn't a very big town. At the very least we'll have to have a small JK party!

Too bad Curtis isn't 21 yet! Moonie's bar is right next door!

I think it is a 1 1/2 - 2hour drive from Springfield.

Ok, I'm done picking on imports and its this far for me to go there and meet other JK's prolly nicer and bigger than mine.

Total Est. Time: 2 hours, 24 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 135.51 miles

How many are going or a rounded out number are going? I want to know when we go wheeling just how much pure pressure there could possibly be....lol.

Also, where is there for me to stay? I'm a broke little Jeeper.

Not certain how many are going. JackMacOKC is in the midst of moving, but I believe he plans to go. So does RescueX, though he won't arrive until Saturday afternoon. My son and I plan to go. I believe that DocWinkle and a 4x4 club from the Tulsa area will be there--uncertain how many that will be. Torn also plans to go, I think.

JackMacOKC has a place there and has offered to let a few folks camp on his front lawn. I'm sure he'll be getting info out to us pretty quickly. Cherokee State Park is also nearby--uncertain how much that would cost, but shouldn't be too expensive. There's also a commercial campground mentioned by DocWinkle in this thread (Hogans?).

I expect there will be more info in this thread in the next few days.
