Can Aftermarket Diff Covers Cause Failures?
So I finally got around to painting my Poison Spyder Bombshell Diff Covers, had some folks on FB tell me to watch out that some after market covers are causing gear set failures. Of course the one person had an aftermarket cover installed at the same time his new gears were installled, sounds more like a gear lash problem. Ever hear of diff covers causing lubrication failures?

I'll have to look up the Gale Banks series just out of curiosity. I had those same PSC diff covers for 6.5 years, before and after regears. I never had any issues myself. The only thing I'd say is that those lowest hanging bolts do tend to get chewed up in the rocks if it pertains to your style, and that is pretty annoying.

Yeah I have watched a little bit of those videos but not completely, I would suspect in a HD Truck that spends alot of time towing it would be more concerning. But Jeeps going down the highway, backroads, and doing trail stuff highly unlikely, just my $.02. I'll watch the videos in full soon.
