Default Regear shop?

I live in Killeen and I'm willing to travel surrounding cities (Austin, Waco, Dallas, etc) to get my regearing done. I talked to 4 Wheep Parts out of Austin and they quoted me 2,200 bucks to go from 3.21 to 4.88s. Anyone else have any other shops that will do a good job for a decent price?

Check with jeep masters in south Austin. These guys know jeeps and Ray will steer you right. Also they aren't booked out over a week like 4wheel parts is. Just had them do the alignment on mine after doing my lift, think lockers will be my next thing I have them do for me.

$2200 is ridiculous. Wasn't even that much for gears AND lockers on my F-250. There are a few places here in Houston for $1000-$1600 in most places. Few places in Dallas that do them for around $1000 as well. Not sure around Austin area.

Screaming Lizard Customs and Lunatic Customs are both great places to go in the Dallas area. I had mine done by Gerry over at Lunatic and he did a great job on it. $1000 for gears and install and an extra $200 (I think) for some Poison Spyder differential covers. Keep in mind though that he was running a special when I brought him mine to do it, I think he normally charges around $1200, but don't quote me on that. Gerry is also a great guy and a sponsor here to boot.

Just had 4:88's put in at All American Enterprise in Baycliff. It will be a good drive for you, but paid $1600 for parts and labor. Small shop, only known among the locals. Guys name is Jonathan. He owns it, and does primarily jeep. Even does custom bumpers ect. They got a website. Very happy now, had them done last weekend.

Had my 4.88's put in by Keith Jones of Jones Jeeps in Marble Falls. Cost was $1620, inc master kits and tax. I was really comfortable having it done there, and was treated well. They use G2 products.
