Just a suggestion, y'all might want to start new threads for those dates. It makes it much easier to keep up with, for everybody.

I really didn't feel lk making another hidden falls thread. How about a thread lk " hidden falls in two weeks" hah. So it'll always be in two weeks.

If you are going to put together a run or going to be out there, put the dates in the thread title... like this one.

Example:

Hidden Falls March 8-10, or this thread Hidden Falls Jan 18-20. That way people know what dates people are going so they can try and plan around their schedule to make it or not.

X2, agree, and while everyone is at it. Don't post in threads with dates in them that are obviously too old. I believe Jan 18-20 is over a month ago now. Let start in a new thread and keep the Lone Star section growing. Please start a new thread relevant to your message. If it's referring back to Jan 18, that's fine, discussing the next trip out, start a new thread. BTW, if you think Hidden Falls is great, try some of the other parks that are Bad Ass.
This is one of the reasons I don't frequent this section much. Not that anyone cares.

OK, I'm off my soap box now. Time for a beer

Couple of the top of my head.
K2 (Katemcy Rocks) (Katemcy, TX)
Trees Ranch (Close to Leakey, TX)
Longs Ranch (Llano, TX)
Sonofa Ranch (Near Del Rio, TX)
Canyons Offroad Park (Fredricksburg, TX)
Barnwell Mountain (Gilmer, TX)

I know some are a little further away the HF, some are just too far away for most. With the exception of Barnwell Mountain, all others are not open every weekend, and will take some planning.
They all have websites.

On our very own Lonestar Section Sticky! https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/lone...g-spots-69585/

Hope that helps.

ATC22, I think I have wheeled with you in the past? Do you run 20" monster rims?( or whatever those rims are called. lol If so, I have wheeled with you at HF a years back or so.
But I might have you mistaken with someone else.

I've been wanting to check out barnwell. The others like you said aren't open every weekend and when they are, there are some BADA$$ rigs at them.

Barnwell is fun, easy drive from Houston. The other places are good for entry level to bad ass rigs. Them not being open every weekend makes you plan the dates better. HF is always open, so when you have an real bad need to go wheeling, it is a great option. Best wheeling IMO is K2 or Trees Ranch. I'll be at K2 the weekend of 4.12.13

You're welcome to join us, we have about 40 rigs going, mostly JK's.
