Happy new jeep yr. 17 more days now. Ill be there Friday morning and be leaving Saturday night.

Has any one made a reservation for camping yet in area B, was wondering what they charge for a reservation or do they take all for the 2 nights. What spot have you reserved??

 

Primitive B is first come first serve. They don't take reservations for Area B unless you are getting a cabin or camper.

 

ill be staying in my camper and looking to get a 30 amp spot, so i guess ill be making a reservation. Who else is staying in B...is this were the main bunch of JK campers will be? Is any one leaving Friday late afternoon, say 4ish from the Houston area.

 

I will be there Sat mourn. with family. This will be first time to HF . Thanks for letting us tag along with y'all .

primative camping in B (tent) is non reserved (1st come 1st served).

Reservations are required for 30 amp RV sites and cabins - there are ONLY 6 (30a) slots in the B area.
No water or sewer connections are provided in B area (only electric).

From the Site:

Area B has 6, 30 amp RV sites (30 amp electric only) 2 cabins with 8 person occupancy in
each as well as a cabin for 4. Area B also offers tent & RV primitive camping. Generators
are allowed under 68db. We have a restroom and shower facility located at B as well as
porta potties.

You can fill up your RV with water at area B. We also have a dump station.

A camping area slots (17 of them) are reservable - A slots have concrete pads w/ full hook up, including 50a, water AND sewer.

Im checking - but have heard that there are clearance / tree branch issues getting up to B.

Personally I <want> to stay in B...but i dont want to risk damage to our coach.
I dont need water or sewer (our tanks are large enough to go w/out).

 

If all the sites in B are full does any one mind and extra tent or Jeep parking beside you? Just not sure on what time we will be getting there.
