You got me on that one, my mirror isn't that sophisticated. It looks like auto dimming according to this.

Well... New head installed. Jeep is quieter. I am happy. Dealer took longer than they said, but that's fine I didn't want them to rush. Should be problem free!!

Good to hear it all got sorted out. Totally understand not wanting to rush the job. Let us know if you have any issues with it or if you relieve any word of how it may have happened. Very much interested.

It was a common issue on the earlier pentastars I guess. Just a flaw in the manufacturing process. They've built well over a million of these engines in just a few years so I assume there wS a bad batch here and there.
