Hell this is my first down time since buying the house and moving in and I got a day off work finally and it's to babysit the dishwasher repairman and wait for the DirecTV guy to come by.

Dave, what's up with your ear?

edit: just read up on your hearing issue in the A&E thread, Dave. Definitely keep us posted and I "hear" that there are some decent ENTs in Anchorage if they jerk you around down there. Hearing loss sucks and unfortunately its one of those things our bodies are programmed to correct.

I dunno Dave, I thought once hearing goes to bad that's it. Not trying to bring you down but I know after being around F16s and the sorts for 11 years I have hearing loss and ringing that the VA is working on paying me 3 pesos a month for. Hoping you have better luck with real doctors

No, this hearing loss isn't something that was ongoing, or that I suffered from something loud going off next to me....I just woke up with it one morning. So, from what I've been told, 30% get all their hearing back, 30% get some, and 30% never get it back. There is a good chance I have a virus in the ear, or it's inflammation of the auditory nerve. In which case all my hearing could come back when it goes away. A lady I work with had the same thing happen, and her hearing came back in a little over a week.
Let's hope I am as lucky....
