You will see me rolling around fairbanks. I like to wheel but seems like the good areas are kept secret or off limits. I know how to wrench as well but when I moved up here I left my tools behind. I'm in az for a few weeks, would be down to meet up or wheel some time

I noticed the Last Frontier calendar was blank - anyone happen to know who updates it or can anyone post an event? I would like to arrange something for this summer - like a Kenai ride or a meet and greet - any ideas?

Ok cool! Hit me up when you get time.. I don't know any areas to wheel yet either but I'm always on the lookout for other jeeps and other people who know the good spots!

Saturday June 15th at 10:00 am is the annual Alaska 4x4 Meet and Greet. LOTS of badass rigs there, and they have a full course set up for wheelin. Plus a live band, camping, etc. All the alaskan 4x4 groups usually attend, good place to find out where the sweet spots are! I'll be there, along with my fellow jeep buddies. Its in Wasilla at the Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry. Everyone is welcome, you can look them up on facebook as well for more info!

Thanks much - I will be there! I'll check their FB site for details - hopefully they will have some vendors there as well.

Hang a sun lamp above your jeep, crank the heater up to 75, and turn on some tunes! Its an alaskan summer!

Yeah - I was thinking the same thing - I'm sure we will have a few decent days this year...well at least I can hope. For the most part it shouldn't affect most of the things I'd like to accomplish this summer.
