I did mine over a year ago... but I was finally able to check the temp.
Just driving around my toen, the temp was between 120 to 135, very happy with that.
Also I replaced the OEM lines with AN6 connections (It ended up being refunded by Chrysler!) and it is absolutly dry.

Did the install today...no issues at all. Added about 1/4 quart of ATV4 to top it off.... Leak free!

There is a factory recall on those lines. The addition should not automatically void you. I would press the issue a little with my dealer. Worst he can say is No!
Let us know how it turns out.

I agree, but you can just about bet their going to say he caused it by disturbing the line when it was cut.

this IS what will happen..... They deny everything around here so I don't even want to bother with the hassel of making an apt and taking the time to go there.

Not covering the lines that have been hacked by the owner does not sound unreasonable to me.

I think it is. Its a known problem that exist with those lines and the word hacked is pretty strong to replace cut with.

I knew someone wouldn't like the word "hacked" when I wrote it.
The dealer will see the line as having been hacked.
I'm pretty sure they have to turn in the parts replaced under warranty.

But then, we just never know how the dealer will react to things the owner does.

What do you mean by "have it on at all times"? I'm not aware of any transmission coolers that can be turned on and off by the driver.

Sounds like the transmission couldn't take the supercharger.
