Thanks Paratus13
This thread was extremely helpful with the install of my tranny cooler. Thanks for such good instructions Paratus13, worked like a charm
The scariest part was cutting the return tranny line on my new 2011 JKU Rubi but the install went as smooth as shown in the write up.

I bearly fit a B&M cooler with fan and 185 degree fluid thermostate and it has only come on once that I know of in six months. I live in Texas we are 40+ days above 100 degrees so that is saying something about my overkill fan. I will say it came on in Silverton, Colorado in cool weather in 4 lo on a jeep trail so overkill dont bother me. "I'd rather be looking at it then for it"

If so...
Is the fan in front?...or between the cooler and A/C condenser?

I would say with the fan is overkill. In 100 degree weather, pulling a 2800# camper, my trans temps never climb above 185, and that with rolling hills. On flat road, with 4th turned off and the TC locked in 3rd the trans temps fall and stay in the 140s despite the hot weather.
With that said there are a couple of cool write ups on here. One guy mounted a spal fan to his B&M cooler.
