NP! Glad I could help. That splice that I had on mine drove me nuts an thats what got me to invest some time an money on a better option. I figured we all spend so much time an money in our Jeeps to make them look/perform better, I wasnt going to settle for seeping tranny lines. Cutting off the factory crimp fittings was the only way to stop the leaks an use the Aeroquip fittings to the best of their ability, also invest in the Lock-tite lines, dont trust the lines that come with the transcooler. Being on the trails and KNOWING not HOPEING(sw?) that the lines arent leaking is a great feeling. Best of luck, shoot me a email if you need help.

I installed my cooler about 2 weeks ago using the screw together fittings with clamps supplied in the kit and knock on wood...no leaks so far. Had to add almost a full quart of ATF 4. Works great and makes me sleep better at night.

I installed mine about 3 yrs ago the same way and no problems. Just recently installed a pusher fan in the front of it. Now it works even better on the trail.

Cooler bypass valve
For those of us in cold winter areas, wondering how one of these would work. They look sturdy..

I don't think anyone in a cold climate area has reported an issue with warm-up, with an aux cooler.

Do you think a crimp 3/8 tube adapter to -06 an will work instead of flaring?
Part number SUM-2200077B in Summitracing
this would be to remove the factory leaky crimps.
thanks.
