Any specialized tools to utilize your parts list or just the basics to install? I have these ordered plus the cooler for a top quality install.

Thanks

I cant believe somebody hasn't used any -AN fittings or hose. I have seen a install with aircraft quality hose and fitting and was impressed enough to do the same setup. The hoses and fittings will run a person $100 bucks but if its good enough for the aircraft industry then its good enough for a Jeep!! My wife drives our Jeep so extra mechanical insurance is what I shoot for.

I guess you haven't been following this thread. Look a couple pages back. There is a photo and parts list. Post # 383 and 389.

I just ordered some AN fittings from Aircraft Spruce to do it a little differently.

Default Here is a write-up I did on my Cooler install

I used a cooler w/ fan and ANS fittings and stainless braided hoses. It works like a champ.

Not the cheapest way to go, but I don't regret any of it. It looks awesome and works perfectly.

Did you have to adapt the AN fittings to the cooler? Or was the cooler already set up for them?

The cooler i ordered came already setup for AN. I wanted connections that were screw on vs. the clamp kind I see a lot of people use. I didn't want a clamp or hose coming loose on the trail and be out in the middle of no where with no tranny fluid.. To each thier own..

Good to know that is an option. Thanks.
I'm in the process of converting my factory crimp lines to all AN fittings.

Update on temps
Highway driving in 86 degrees, the tranny temp dropped to 144-146. Pulling the new popup camper home from the dealer, same outdoor temp, with the OD off and a mix of stop and go traffic and hwy, showed temps in the 150s.
