I just had my shop install a B&M cooler and they spliced into the lower hose instead of the top. Is this a big deal since they already did it? All that means is that the A/M cooler is cooling the fluid before it goes to the factory cooler right????

Nah not that one. It should look exactly like the right side of that connection but on both the left and right side.

For best performance there is an ideal mounting configuration and the fluid should first route to the stock cooler then to the add-on cooler for maximum temp drop. Here is a writeup that contains a hose routing diagram. Also, the B&M website has some good information.

Does it matter where along the stock radiator you place the trans cooler?

No it doesnt.

I have a few Q's for everyone....

1. those of you without the aux fan can you give an update?

2. those of you with larger coolers are you running into any shifting problems?

3. does anyone make in line temp sensors....i would like to do "IN/OUT" temps

TIA!!!

This is on my short list of my next mod. Is there anything that someone might really screw up when doing this mod. I am not too brave when it comes to a engine/tranny mod. Any words of wisdom for us non-mechanics.
