But, but, the transmission fluid never enters the engine radiator.

The OEM transmission cooler sits in front of the radiator. It is the lower part of the A/C condenser/trans cooler assembly.

Thats correct but it probably would work a little better if it was tight against as stated it would pull air through it instead of around it.

really? I haven't looked, I was going by past experiences w/every other car I've ever known. my KJ had a separate power steering cooler, but tranny was part of radiator. I'll get out of bed & look. but if u r sure, I'll take ur word for it.

Redneck used a very nice word regarding the JEGS cooler, "sucks." That doesn't begin to describe how useless this style of cooler is. It has to be designed as an auxiliary to another cooler in a high air flow/high fluid flow environment. I actually hit (Aeroforce Guage) 262 degrees in my transmission heading up the shale portion of the Poughkeepsie Gulch trail to The Wall with one of these. I can't say strongly enough DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE! And if you do, I have a real cheap one sitting on the floor of my shop. Although now I'm kind of wondering if it would work on my power steering system.

Thanks for the write-up. I have all the parts and went to install on Saturday until I realized that my grille won't come off because of my winch. So, I need to deal with that first.
