Finished product....still haven't painted it, but looks good now.







Dang Rainy Days...now I'm already thinking about my next mod....

The rivets give it a nice, finished look.

I cut mine the same way about 2 years ago, but drilled holes and used 4 black sheet metal screws to hold the end caps on. Came in handy a few times for access.

Thanks for the write-up, here's my result, I used some black hex-head self tapping screws instead of rivits.

Any pics of the back side or inside of the front bumper after the mod?

These all look great! I'm thinking a weekend job is being planned!

I know I'm asking probably too much here but I want to start this mod but before I do would like to have a good understanding of what EXACTLY needs to be cut.... Does anyone have any pics and measurements of what metal section of bumper needs to be cut and how and also what "nut plates" need to be saved? Just not sure on these parts.

I've got a good grasp on the other procedures but just a little foggy on the parts to cut behind the plastic? Any pics and or explainations would be appreciated.
