So, like I said the rings and grab bar didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped. They both look a little textured and I would have like them smooth. Overall though I'm please with the look, unless you give it a close inspection it looks clean so for now it will be fine. In the long run I may replace them and redo it.
I'd like to figure out a clean way to go back and paint the Jeep logos and the "Since 1941" on the grab bar black, but I just don't have a steady enough hand to do that.

you could look for a pin striper at a car show, they'd have the fine brushes and steady enough hand. shouldn't cost too much.

I'm trying to do the same, but I'm just not figuring our how to pop the vent bezel off. can anyone give me a hand?

The whole vent cylinder twists to the left 1/4 turn and pulls out. The there are 4 tabs holding the ring on the cylinder. I'll got get a couple pictures after the wife goes to bed.

Edit:
Ok, the lighting in my garage sucks, but this give you the idea.

I wanted to get rid of the silver...bedlined mine with duplicolor spray on liner. Not the best pic, but I love the way it turned out.

Looks GREAT! I will probably do the same to my 2013 JKUR when I get it.

Did you have to rough-up the bezels, etc with sand paper? Details would be awesome.

The door trim took the paint perfectly, but I would recommend roughing up the rings and grab bar. The paint didn' t want to stick to them at all, I ended up putting 6 or 7 coats on them the get it looking right.
