Painted my vent rings this weekend using silver spray paint. Very happy with the results.

Honestly does this look gay or is it alright? idk if i like the sparkle-ness i may re paint them to match the tan accents on the side of the radio

I bought the color the OP wrote about. It was way too "sparkly" for my taste. I liked the metallic theme, but instead of using the DupliColor shades, I found a Rustoleum "Specialty Appliance Epoxy" spray in #7887 Stainless Steel (at Lowes). It is very durable and goes much better with the interior - no sparkle or bling look.

That's nearly the exact same paint I used. I love the color and the sparkle will get less over time. At first it was all glittery, then later on over time it becomes more dull but it is badass.

did the flame red, i still need to pull the gauge cluster but you cant do everything at once or you'd have nothing to do later!
Has anyone seen or heard of someone pulling the dash out to color match to the vehicle? I'd love a write up on that. Any one thought of tackling it?
