Is it difficult to open up that part so that you can paint it?

Default Anyone done this with Steel Blue?

Has anyone done this with Steel Blue? I want to match with the exterior color. But I am not sure if I want to go with generic paint or the dealer paint. If I could see the pictures that would be great.

thanks in advance!

i did...I would not use the spray cans from pep boys or autozone for that color. If it was silver to match the Rubi dash, it would look good. But I have Steel Blue and went to a autobody supply and gave them my paint code off the door tag. Factory match!

Cool

Thanks guys for all the ideas. I take delivery of my 08, 2dr jk-x next week in detonator yellow and I have friends at the dealership and will try to get all the answers for these mod questions. I will be making many of these mods as well as some chassis mods and matching paint on calipers and other parts as well, i will try to post pics on here if not I will post a link for the pics on here for flickr
