Congrats on the JK Rockd, but more importantly, God Bless You and all of your compatriots who serve this country.

Steps:
1. Buy Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Coating in Silver (or any color you want)(I found it at Auto-Zone for $5.99)
2. Open the vents, turn the vent about 1/4 turn clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on which vent).
3. This will unlock the vents and they will slide right out.
4. Use a small screwdriver to remove the vent bezel (lift four small "tabs")
5. Apply 3-4 thin coats of paint.
6. Dry, and you are done. Snap the bezels back in place and put the vents back in.
The paint looks great, very even and if you clean the plastic thoroughly, it will stick well.

I just did mine and I love it.
One thing - I'm thinking of doing the middle sections of the shift knob and tcase knob.
Anyone taken these off before? How?
Cheers.
