Ive decided to do silver and use the original dupli color paint. What clear coat has everyone been using to make it shine?

I didn't use any clear coat, just the Duplicolor and it looks fine.

I have had mine done for awhile and they still look like I just did them. With stood cleaning and the sun just fine. I didn't use any clear coat either.

All done. Came out pretty good. Four light coats on the vent covers and the grab bar ends.

3. This will unlock the vents and they will slide right out.
4. Use a small screwdriver to remove the vent bezel (lift four small "tabs")
5. Apply 3-4 thin coats of paint.
6. Dry, and you are done. Snap the bezels back in place and put the vents back in.

The paint looks great, very even and if you clean the plastic thoroughly, it will stick well.

Thank you ArmyCop. I did this upgrade this weekend and it looks great. Thank you

Great Idea!
