i have an 08 black jk and i'm going with RED!!
HEY I HAVE A BLACK 08 JK AND I'M GOING W/ RED ACCENTS.....JUST PAINTED MY VENT RINGS RED AND BOUGHT A PAIR OF RED RUGGED RIDGE GRAB HANDLES AND RED QUADRATEC NEOPRENE WRAPS FOR THE ARMRESTS ON THE DOORS AND THE PASS. SIDE FRONT GRAB HANDLE.......I'M SO HAPPY W/ THE OUTCOME AND IT LOOKS INSANE!! SORRY NO PICS YET BUT ILL POST WHEN I TAKE SOME

Steps:
1. Buy Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Coating in Silver (or any color you want)(I found it at Auto-Zone for $5.99)
2. Open the vents, turn the vent about 1/4 turn clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on which vent).
3. This will unlock the vents and they will slide right out.
4. Use a small screwdriver to remove the vent bezel (lift four small "tabs")
5. Apply 3-4 thin coats of paint.
6. Dry, and you are done. Snap the bezels back in place and put the vents back in.
The paint looks great, very even and if you clean the plastic thoroughly, it will stick well.

just put the clear coat on mine i have a jeep green 2dr and decided to go a different direction and use gold-bronzish paint. i like the look, pics up tomorrow when the sun's out.
