I was the original guinea pig (or at least the first to post it) for the sterring wheel painting. You can only do it on an '08 Sahara, but otherwise, I'm not sure how you would do it. On the '08's they have a silver cover on the spokes that comes off fairly easily, just pull up slowly on them from the outside and they will come up. There are little pieces on the back of them that hold them in place, some may break, but don't worry, it will go back on and hold.
To reinstall, just reverse the process, take it slow. if any of the little tabs bent, totally remove them as it will not sit right if they stay on. If you have any issues with it sticking in place, just use a little glue and they will hold. I've had mine on there for 3 months aand have had no need for glue.

Grant, the steering wheel job looks awesome! PROPS to armycop, this is a great mod. Price/effect ratio is off the chart. I did mine and they look great and are holding up phenomenal after 2 months and quite a bit of abuse.
