Side Rear View Mirror Glass Replacement.
To those like me that have busted there mirror. An the housing is good shape. I just wanted to let every one know how simple it is to replace it. I had mine busted by a Tahoe, that side swiped me. The out side still looks brand new. Instead of buying one from a junk yard and having an extra housing laying around I ordered a new glass for mine. Cost is about $45 and no shipping. Car-Parts.com lowest was $50 for complete mirror and then add your shipping.
Steps to follow
1. Push mirror to the furthest point down.
2. Grasp top of mirror and pull towards the back of the jeep. the top clips should pop right out.
3. Tilt the glass down ward.
4. Then lift staright up.
Reverse the steps to install.
Took me all of 3 min as i was working with a broken one. I am going to take some pics of the back of the damage mirror so every one can see the clips
