Rugged Ridge EXO-Top Installation and Review
Hello, I recently installed the Rugged Ridge EXO-Top on my 2012 JKU and I created a video, took pictures and reviewed the product.
Below are a few pics... take a look!! I'll post the video on the thread next!!

Thanks. My favorite part of the rack/top combo is the sun slider. I say Rugged Ridge should develop a soft top with this as the main feature, especially for those who do not necessarily want a rack. I find myself sliding it back at a stop light in a matter of a couple of seconds!! When I get to work I simply slide it forward and latch the header hooks...

I can't wait to get this. Great job with the video - you know your way around a Jeep.
I notice that you gave the "fit" and "instructions" 4 stars instead of 5. Not so worried about instructions since your video covers the details that matter, but could you explain the "fit" rating? I'm noticiing in your pics that the windows look wrinkled. I'm assuming that right out of the box that's pretty normal but just wondering how everything has settled in.
I also agree with your suggestion to RR that they produce a top with the sun slider option (minus the rack). You and i need the rack, but how many Jeeps do I see every day with just the freedom panels out because it's quick and easy?

The 4's for fit and instructions are because:
1 - the fit on my cage was slightly off due to a couple of bad welds (tube was at slight angle) preventing the tubes from mating up exact. For me this was not problem because these "seams" are not very visable and the do not affect the structural integrity. RR is aware and has made changes to the QC process.
2 - the instructions are really good, however, there are a few pictures that should be a little more detailed. For example, on the 2 bows that support the soft top from inside the Jeep have different "feet". I really couldn't tell in the pics and the bows were not marked so I put the front on the back and vice versa. I had to reinstall. I actually made blown up pictures of the instruction pics of the bows and sent to RR. They are revising the instructions now.
