Default Get me the phone book

I like the way the exhaust was kept tucked up - so for a couple of hundred bucks you get a decnt hp upgrade and an increase in decibels when you step on the loud pedal-get me the phone book - where's the nearest Magna Flow dealer?

Magna Flow's sound bites on the TJ are very close but I don't think My JK is quite as loud... But the tone is right on... Then again I haven't stood behind my jeep and gassed it.. I know when I rev it up like that it takes forever for the RPM's to come down.. Fly-by Wire...

Low RPM torque - @ 1650 it was averaging gains of 26.5hp / 25tq.. Not bad to me..

I don’t have any hook ups as for the parts. I paid full retail..
- $250 for the AEM
- $260 Jet Performance Stage II chip.

The exhaust cost me about $300 only because we tried both Dual and Single set ups..
My exhaust shop says it should only cost about $180 for the Single Magna Flow System..
Having the muffler relocated is nice because now I have all the extra room under the back for whatever I may come up with..

Just to give everyone an Idea of the Dual Exhaust setup.. @ 2000 RPM’s it actually lost HP and TQ over stock…
Thanks for the info. I agree with all - looks like good gains for the money spent.

I assume your low rpm hp/tq gains are with the single magna exhaust and the chip. Do you have the low rpm results for just the single magna exhaust??

Also - any idea on the effect on emissions compared to stock?

Thanks!

1Badjk- Sorry for this kinda stupid question. Did you keep your stock muffler or donate it to the muffler pile at the exhaust shop? I'm curious only in that the muffler was new and is there any value in trying to sell it at a swap meet like the one in Canby. Thanks for efforts to keep the rest of us informed- I really enjoyed reading your thread. Happy Jeepin' !

That is wonderful news.

not meaning to highjack the thread, move it where ever or delete it. Since when is a Jeep a "Truck?" I have noticed that many times on this board people calling their new JK's "Trucks." Sorry to be cynical but just making a point.

thanks

I suppose it's better than being called a "car". Of course, there's only one Jeep

Call it what you like but PLEASE don't call it a Hummer.. So sick and tired of being compared to a hummer... I had this guy in a hummer pull up and park next to me and have the nerve to make this statment " So, you bought the poor mans hummer." Never have I wanted so bad to beat the crap out of someone.. And I'm a nice guy.. I asked if he would like to take it to the trail with his "Bummer".. He just laughed and walked away.. So if some call it a "Truck", Car, SUV.... Whatever.. Just don't call it a hummer... wayoflife - you got it.. " There is only one JEEP"..
