It's real easy and cuts nice with a sawzall. You won't mess it up and with all the pictures you know what it will look like. Hey if you don't like it you can always buy new!! Lol

Default Fender Chop

Finished my fender chop yesterday. I think they turned out great! I used a jig saw to cut mine and it worked perfectly!. I got the substructure cut and put back in but I don't have the fender skirt put back in yet. I think it will look better with the skirt back in. What are your opinions on putting the skirt back in or leaving off?

Thanks

I like most other peeps had my doubts about taking the knife to the Jeep but once that first cut was made I was grinning ear to ear.
If you lived closer I'd buy you a case .

That looks awesome! I will be chopping mine this upcoming weekend. However, there is something wrong with your front plate...

Cheers!

Thanks a lot, and what is wrong with the Jets lol. I also wanted to add that I did not remove the liner at all for this chop, I used an exacto knife along the edge of the body so that it still looked good. Also wanted to point out that there really is no reason to take anything off prior to the cut, I just cut all the plastic under supports after everything was said and done. I can get more detailed pics if needed.

Nah, nothing wrong with the jets! I just live in Calgary, so I get a little jealous when I see the logos of other teams that can walk all over the shames, I mean flames, yea that is what I meant... Lol
If you could post some more pics that would be great! I am totally going to use your exacto knife idea.

Will do, I'll have some more detailed pics Tuesday night. I also found a trick to keep the flare from flapping near the body, will show that as well.
