Got the fronts done today! Wasn't quite as easy as I thought, but the write-up and this thread made everything so much better

Thanks Red! This write up gave me the confidence to take the plunge. The sawsall didn't work for me mostly because I'm an idiot and would have killed myself had I continued. I used a Stanley utility knife and scored the line once and then was able to cut through the entire thickness in one pass. It was as if the blade heating up under the friction/pressure made it cut like butter. The only negative thing about this mod is that 32's look a bit small but they are brand new so it will be awhile before going bigger. Thank you very much for this write up!

I was so nervous about this but after the blade hit the fender, I calmed down. I am very happy with the outcome and I want to thank Red and the others for giving my the confidence to try it. I only need to relocate those lights now.

Red thank you so much for the detailed pics and instructions, went ahead and Dremel'd the shit out of it today and I couldn't be happier.
I like most other peeps had my doubts about taking the knife to the Jeep but once that first cut was made I was grinning ear to ear.
If you lived closer I'd buy you a case .
