Well, I'm not gonna lie, it was harder than expected, but finally finished! Still gotta find some trim and do the marker light but I'm really happy with the look.

Though I posted pics, woops. Used a sawzall. Probably gonna go buy a belt sander to straighten out the edges, if you look closely they're slightly wavey. Ironically, the straightest flare was the one I spent the least time on. I copied serverapurpose measurements (https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...s-here!/page11), except I added an inch on the front and didn't taper the back of the flare, and went 3.5" on the back.

Thats what makes this so fun! Why spend money when you can have the satisfaction of doing it yourself and maybe make it unique?

Other than a belt sander, anyone have any other ideas on out to straighten the edges?

to make the edges strait i took a piece of 2x4 maybe about 8" long and put a half a sheet of sand paper on it with staples on the ends to hold it in place. it worked perfect for me to sand and straiten them out. i guess i could run down and take a pic...
