Looks great. how do they travel at 70+ mph? A buddy of mine said he chopped his and drove it out to MOAB (From Indy). Said they flapped the whole time and made a ton of noise....he ended up buying Bushwhacker Flats because of it.

Here are a few pics of some we cut. They are finished nice enough you don't need the edge trim on them. They are currently for sale here: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...rimmed-Fenders They are still factory width.

I drove it down to Dayton for Jeepbeach from ATL running 70-80 and no concerns.. the fronts move a little and dont make any noise..

Just jump in and do it. If you really botch them, stock fenders aren't that expensive to buy, especially used from someone who put on aftermarket. It really isn't that hard, it just takes some courage to get started.

As long as you follow my style and leave a curve in the sides they are just as strong as stock and don't flop or make noise at all.

Thanks for this comment, I was worried about flopping in the wind and daily driving. This makes me feel a lot better, you inspired this newbie to do my first mid that involves cutting. Thanks!

By the way, any noticeable drop in gas mileage? I'm gonna do it any ways but just wanted to know any experience.
