Heath... Awesome write up, and had been reading this thread off and on for a while now, and finally wrapped up my fender trim, along the same lines but with a slight twist up front. Here's a few pictures. Still have some sanding to do in spots that I plan on wrapping up this weekend. Thanks for the directions
I am ready to wheel again soon!!

Makes quite a difference don't it? Hehehe... You got the master fender chopper right in your back yard buddy . If not, we'll take a couple of hours during our next Superlift get together and chop it

I chopped my fenders 2 days ago using this write-up. It turned out great. On the front fenders I made a straight line like R1CH did (@ a little less than 45 degrees), but also left a tiny lip on the side edges like Red did. This should help with water coming in when riding around with no doors, but still kept a really aggressive look. The only place I deviated from the write-up is that I used a sawzall on the under guard instead of snips. I put a really fine blade on it and it went right through. I will post pictures soon. Thanks for the great write-up

That Looks great!...I have been wanting to do mods to my JK, but been tight on cash....but with mods like the fender trim and stubby bumper mod, It will make the JK look great at practically costing nothing!....Great Job!
