The way I cut them they still give the same protection, if you look close they still curve down a little on the sides!

Did this to mine a few months ago. Best thing for looks. Jeep looks 10x better. And I no longer pop flares off when the suspension flexes.

I just picked up some extra flares so I will be doing this soon.

What are you all doing for marker lights once you have trimmed?

here is what i did after i did "red's fender chop". there are cheaper lights but i really liked these
