Since I am a geek and not a jock, I think this would qualify for the first home run I ever hit!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for the compliments, I really appreciate it!!!!

Mowrangler, washington Mike, Wiredog and Torn doesn't this make you want to do it now, I will help you guys.

It was scary at first, especially since my buddie that was helping me is not a jeeper and kept asking me are you sure you want to cut up your brand new jeep so I am like I think so don't I?

But I love it, I may go a little skinnier when I cut my bumpers, I am trying to work on that next and a side marker light mod, so maybe next week I will be doing something else.

Thanks again to all those who have posted pics and info and answered my questions regarding this fender trim, I would have not even tried it without you!!!!!

Very Nice! now you want to make me do it. I was a little scared at first but your write up made it seem pretty simple. Thanks

Great job! Thanks for the pix and the writeup - I was putting in my Cibie's last night and was thinking about doing this as my next mod.

I love the fender chop threads because everyone's looks a bit different. The lines are one's own.
Looks good.
I did mine too, only I had a sahara and the paint was pretty messed up. Duraliner covered it up nicely.

Have you got any pics? Trying to decide if I want to do mine, or wait til I can find some cheap x/rubi take-offs to trim.

Not quite yet... I already have more lift than tires! Maybe if I move up to 38.5's, but then again I'll probably have to get 60's before I get there.

Default Did this today

Well I just finished doing this today. I already had it planned before this thread, but your write-up really helped Red. Thanks for taking the time to put it together! There were a few times I had to come back and double check your thread for a reference. So... here are some pics! Thanks again Red!
