I seen these Chopped flares in person, they looked awesome. I can't wait to do this to my toy. Thank you for a detailed break down on how to trim the flares.

Huge thanks goes out to Red for posting this great Write-up, I follwed it almost to a "T." I did some of my own tweaking here and there but nothing major. Again big thanks to Red and my bro Jon who helped me out. I am stoked on the agressive look and on the way it turned out. Here are some pics....

Ahhhh Yes! I found my solution. Was about to buy the flat fenders but was told that you can't have them in Germany because they don't stick out far enough. After seeing the cut Sahara flares, I think I'm going to do the same once I get through with my deployment. Thanks a lot Red for starting this thread!

So I found a set of black sahara fenders on craigslist for $60 today and decided to get them and do the fender chop. I have all the fenders chopped and got the front ones on. I started late so I had to stop at the front today. Definitely going put up some pics tomorrow when I finish them up. Thanks for the write up though it gave me the confidence to do it.
