Just a slow weld throughout, for example weld an inch at a time on drivers side(have someone cool that area with a big soaken wet rag) and then go weld on the pass side about an inch, swap back and forth like that, not bad on a creeper and a helper.go from one side to the other. Great product

Thanks guys, thats just plain ole mig with 75/25% mix. The next set I might Tig with some nickel rod.

do th gussets fit both dana30 and dana44 axles?

Thanks, thats what I figured but with my luck I would end up with something that only fits the D44.
