Looks great. Those welds look great. What size welder are you using?

Good to see someone actually gave the D30 a chance. My friend has been bustin my Ballz about staying with the D30 and D44 out back. I too feel with a truss kit, C Gussetts and some axle shaft the D30 will perform just fine. I am not building a rock crawler, just a mild build for some of the trails and back country stuff we have here in AZ. Build looks great so far! Good job!!

It is a Millermatic 250X. Unfortunately not mine, but one I can use at work.

Thank you. Financially, I thought this was the best route to try for me and my degree of off roading.

Put the axle shafts and hubs on last night. Got it filled with oil and hope that the inner seals are still good.

I did not at this point. Since the axle I bought was complete, I now have an extra set of everything. Hopefully I will never need them, but if something breaks I will use these parts first.

Since Im doing the same thing, I have been browsing for parts. Northridge4x4 has a bangin deal for D30/D44 ring and pinion. It includes both F&R Ring and Pinion plus the install kit. They have good deals on axle shafts too, if you ever replace them that is..
