IPF Headlight Quick Fix
So on some of the jeep years you may have to "modify" the wiring loom on the IPF headlight kit to get them to fit properly. Until the harness is available. They are not perfect and I am very sorry about that and not to happy to be honest but after installing them and what it took to get them to fit it turned out to be a pretty easy fix
Here is some pictures to help you out I just installed a set in a 2007 and a 2008 and they both needed this fix.
Here is what the Plug looks like when plugged into the factory harness.
Notice the plug is approx 1/4" from bieng seated all the way.
Here is a picture of where you need to snip the plug
Cut vertical
Cut Horizontal
Insert plug all the way and if you use a small screwdriver you can push down on the tab inside the harness and it will "click" in . But just to be safe I added a few zip ties
That should do it and you will never have any issues but ARB is working on getting some new harness made and if you would like one give ARB tech a call and they will put on the list.
UPDATE************
We just installed the lights on a 2009 and a 2010 and no cutting was required. We still installed a zip tie but no cutting was required.
Also Here is some info from the MFG incase you missed it.

To all:
There may be some fitment issues with the harnesses. Some don't click that I've seen and I'm being told some need a little trimming to fit. Not sure if it's overfilled molds or another issue but we're working on it.
Regardless, the final answer is this: If you get yours, the fixes to get them working short term are available to you. The reality of this is that the harnesses are made over seas and we can't get a new run done in the next couple days and out to you to fix issues. Get me your contact information with your issue and we'll get a new run of jumpers made and on the way once the dust settles and we'll make your problem right.
The ARB/IPF way is the make it right. We'll take care of you. The good news is you can make them fit short term. Again, if you're not happy with the fit, get me your information and I'll get you on the list for new jumpers should you need them.

Man, I thought I knew the definition customer service but this response from David at Northridge and ARB / IPF sets an extremely high standard, that will challenge many other companies. Thanks, and I am still eagerly awaiting my lights.

Just wanted to make sure everybody saw the update if you have a 2010 or 2009 you should not need to cut. I just installed a set on each and they slid right in.

Just got done with my install, the light are GREAT, and with a 2009 they fit like a dream, no cutting or tape needed. They must be designed for the 2009 and on. As my green plug is alittle different than the one in Davids picture above.

Thanks dave. Can't wait to install mine. The few pics I saw of them at night looks like a great improvement over stock. They should have a couple dozen of us jeep owner to help engineer the jeep line and we would have one heck of a jeep.: rotflmao2:
