An Improved Grab Handle Solution
#52
Don't bother ordering on-line. I went to my local kayak store and bought the exact same thing for 4 bucks a peice (Canadian $). Got them right away and no shipping charge.
They are actually lugage handles.

This was AFTER i destroyed a set previously from the webbing getting caught/bound/frayed/torn by the drill bit.

This is a huge advantage provided by Jeep forums like this outstanding one. My wife and I had been discussing the need for grab handles and how we might provide them for my new JK. Then, not too much later, I noticed several of the threads on Jeeps boards discussing different ideas.
After reviewing most of them, I bought the Jeep grab handle with coat hook from Jeep World for about $30 (http://www.jeepworld.com/accessories...grabhandle.htm) for the front passenger side of our JK. For the rear, I purchased two from Chesapeake Light Craft (http://www.clcboats.com/kayakgear.php) for $6 each that connect to the speaker bolts. Both great additions.
Thanks for sharing this kind of information.

Just got mine in the mail. With the exception of having my hard top tinted, these will be the first addition to my first jeep. Can't wait to put them on. Now I just have to wait for my Airaid CAI, Husky floor mats, Quick Mirrors, and Mastercraft handles from 4wd.com....It sure is fun buying things for the JK!!!
