thanks to all those that tried this before me. got my handles in today and spent about 45 minutes installing. that includes getting the guy at Home Depot to drill the holes for me. then fighting with a cheap adjustable wrench to work the bolts. turned out great!

I'm not sure how they measure them but it is obvious when you go into the store. They have only 2 or three sizes and I have the smaller one. The hole is probably only a 1/4" or so. Take the bolt into the store with you. or can probably judge from my photo which one it is.

Now that you have this Jeep and access to the forum you are gonna have to put some tools on that Christmas list of yours.

Wow was that easy, and they look great too! Just finished installing, could not have taken more than 15 minutes total. I have the Mastercraft grab handles in the front and they look identicle. CLC ships incredibly fast too! Great suggestion, thanks!

I think they will work for hanging dry cleaning too!

thx for the write on these handles. i ordered them the other day and got them in the mail in 2 dayz, now thats fast. i went a lil diff route with makeing the hole, i used a soldiering iron to burn a hole in the tips so it would not fray. worked great and they are a cheap way to get some handles in the back. i also made a hole in my velco front door handles and put a small bolt with washers and a locking nut to prevent them from being stolen when i leave the top down in a parking lot or sort, thx again for the info
