I think black is the color where scratches, marks, etc show the most, so maybe u want to try with a small decal first

Removed my stickers on my Black 08 last month; just a hint of fade-shadow, but the sticker shadows are disappearing a little after every wash.

I just used a razor blade scraper. Took my time and they wanted to come off real easy.

so far driving has done a good job of removing mine. my rubicon decals are peeling away at the leading edge of the hood. i don't know if it's a common problem or not but i kinda wanted to keep those. not bad enough to buy new ones, but i would've been happier if they weren't peeling

Condition it with the mud spa for a couple weeks then let a rock take it off

I used a heat gun. It took no time at all. The second the decals got soft they peeled right off.

That was for the huge obnoxious Mountain decals on the hood though. It took some time!
I gotta try that 3M adhesive remover. The Mountain decals took awhile even with the plastic scraper and heat gun. I tried WD-40, Goof Off, Goo Gone, Bug & Tar Remover, and finally rubbing alcohol for the sticky crap. The rubbing alcohol seems to be working but you really have to work at it. It's definitely some serious adhesive.

What's the point then in buying a Mountain or Islander Edition if you're gonna rip those decals off? Logo embroidered seats?
