Grill Mod
#671
This is my first mod and first post. Thanks to all for the prior posts and great directions! After being on here for almost a year I finally did something!
Went with the painted sheet metal/zip tie method and really happy with it.
Installed a couple months ago, holding up great!

Here is mine. I just went with steel, hopefully it won't rust - but hey, most of the stuff on the Wrangler is steel anyways so maybe it will just match the rust elsewhere. I didn't use any clips, just bent the steel so that it would fit in there with pressure. Sorry, no pictures of the process.
Great mod. Pretty cheap, mine was 21.99, and not too hard. Thanks for the ideas guys.

removing grill
I just did mine for the frist time yesterday. Pretty simple. Just remember that the plastic "screws" are not really screws. Some of them screwed up a bit and some didn't. They really just act as an expander. Get them to come up a bit and pull them (the whole assembly) out with your fingers. You may have to use a small flat head screwdriver to pop them up. Pretty easy.
