First post, first mod...
After reading through all 60some pages i finally decided to do this, great jobs everyone! I took some pics of the install in case it might be of some help for anyone. I got all the materials at HD, the tie blocks are right beside the zip ties in the electrical section.
I went for the gutter guard/ gorilla glue method. Here's what i learned: 1) soak the tie blocks for bout an hour to remove the crappy pads adhered to them. 2) use rubber gloves (the ones doctors use) when working with the gorrila glue ; i let the glue dry overnight too. 3) The tie blocks are too big, cut a little bit off the side to make them fit.

This is the materials i used, black uv tie blocks and zip ties
The empty holes are where the plastic screws come out. Some else on this thread mentioned drilling screws in them to get them out, i just unscrewed/pryed them out, really easy to do.
This is the layout, I washed the grill with soap and water, dryed it, then gorilla glued the blocks down. I let them dry overnite
I also did the marker light mod while I was waiting for the glue to dry. I don't know how to link threads so use the search button.
I know its a bit off topic, but the marker light mod is great, super easy and some really good write ups and info in that thread.
The finished product. I know its a crap pic, ill try to get some better ones later. Thats my brothers 2010 jk in the background. My neighbors stop wondering why we never shovel the snow on our driveway when they see what we got in the garage

Great write up, any pictures of the material attached from the back side?

basically i cut the pieces about 6-7 inches wide so they would overlap and zip tied them down. The gutterguard is really easy to bend and work with, so if you screw up on a piece just cut the zip tie and replace the piece if need be.
