going to home depot tonight to get the goods. need to find a metallic grey / titanium paint to match my color scheme.

I got this idea from Brattwurzt on page 23. I made a grille insert using stamped aluminum with a hexagonal honey comb pattern:

After a couple weeks of reading this thread I went and did the mod. Took me about 2 hours all together including prep and travel time to get supplies which totaled about $40.

Got the sheet metal from a random shop that I drove by the other day and used spray bed liner and primer to finish it after sanding.

Default finally did it

Finally got the motivation to do the gutter guard grill mod....very easy, took about two hours. Used two part epoxy to re-inforce the zip tie blocks just in case the self adhesive backing wears off from getting wet.
Make sure you start on either the left or right and "shingle" your way to the other side. Very tight fit and the plastic gutter material seems to be very strong.
You guys are the best at coming up with cheap mods....keep em' comin' EH!!!
