Hey does anyone have any problems with heat after installing this mod? I heard the jeep tends to run hotter after this install..

Thanks!

i used perforated 18guage stainless steel and was worried that i would have temp issues as the holes are smaller and further spaced. but my guage hasn't budged at all. not sure how 'true' the guage in the dash cluster really is, but i guess i trust it.

Awesome thanks for all the feedback on the heat issues... I heard something on another post on here, so we were having second thoughts about putting this on the jeep.

And I definately didn't want to pay $300 for someone on ebay to give me a molded piece of plastic with steel mesh, which I can buy at the store for under $20.

I think we will be doing this one this weekend! Thanks again!

$5 baby. And I have had more Jeep owners approach me in parking lots and at red lights and ask about it then anything else on my rig.
