I'll have to give it a shot., did you use some paint thinner or goo-gone to take off the adhesive?

Get some 5 minute epoxy or come by and get the gorilla glue. Either way will make it permanent.

Lowes. It was in their sheet metal section.

I did this mod and used the 5 min epoxy, and it held about three weeks. Not to happy about this. I'm going to try the gorilla glue. I want to make sure I do it right this time. are you using the adhesive tape on the back of the tabs and then dampening the area and running a bead of glue around the tab? What is the point of dampening the plastic? I can understand wood, but plastic?

I used fairly heavy steel plate diamond mesh for the grill..........applied the gorilla glude directly to the adhesive on the back of the blocks. It's been a month.......and it's solid. I did sand the grill at each point where the blocks are glued with 120 gr paper. You're right....plastic doesn't dampen.....I did not dampen the adhesive either......the adhesive is already damp isn't it?
