Has anyone tried using epoxy to glue the zip tie anchors on?

I totally removed the self adhesive part and bonded using PS870A1/2, an aircraft fuel tank sealer. My bases are NOT coming off anytime soon.

Thanks for the info. I live in Cleveland and know that the included adhesive wouldn't hold in our winters.

4JEXEP4, Why would I be kidding?? If some people used hot glue, what is so crazy about something like 5 min epoxy to use instead of the included adhesive??

I had to redo mine this weekend. Added a bead of hot glue from a glue gun around the tie wrap mounts...hope it holds this time

Has anyone tried using nylon blocks or even wood blocks (yuk) and then screwing the material down with short wood screws? I never noticed the depth of the lip around the slots, but I'll check tomorrow to see if it's sufficient. Seems like using epoxy and blocks/screws might be a more permanent solution.

All that being said, I'll still probably use zip ties...

I went to metalcrafters.com, the company that makes the ones at Quadratec. Unfortunately, they didn't divulge their double super secret mounting technique so we could steal it. Probably zip ties and blocks anyway. Nice job by everyone that has done it. Now that you have figured out the kinks, I intend to reap the rewards. Thanks!

if some one was enterprising
they would put a kit together of everything required and sell it straight sell or on ebay. i can't find expanded aluminum and when i did they wanted to only sell 4x8ft sheet out of my price range.

so the kit would include
unpainted screen flat
nylon zip tie blocks
zip ties
instructions
30 35 USD sale price
I would buy it.

Hey guys and gals. I am just getting around to doing this mod and I have a question. On that gutter guard stuff that everyone is using Does it have a curve to it. I just got back from Lowe's and the only gutter guard was like someone said 3ft long in a pack of 6 but it had a huge curve to it. Am I looking at the right stuff or should I keep looking or order it from that web site that sells it?
