There's one on here somewhere with a guy using a little free standing crane, engine hoist type of setup.

Default wood works

I built mine out of 2x4 lumber after reading someone's post on here and it has been working great. i lagged slotted angle channel to the main 2x4 and there is absolutely no flex at all. use heavy duty hangers screwed in at all three ends and you are good to go!

I over paid for the on at Quadratech. But it works great. I have a 25 X 40 metal carport and its about to be 25 X 60. So its never in the way.
1 T bar
3 J hooks
1 pulley
1 com along
