Best write up yet. Wish I would have done this before my hinges starting bubbling!

Guess their solution didn't work because I purchased a 2012 and had the same issue as with my 07 JKU rubi then remembered that I needed to drill the mirrors and again solved the problem of water remaining in the mirrors even though a day in the sun after washing her the water would trail out along the door. Nice Job Chrysler! I guess Solving any kind of water issues is not their strongest area of expertise seeing as the roofs still have issues!!!!

Great mod. Jeep is in the shop having 5.38 gears installed. Sucks I have to wait a day now to drill the mirrors. Makes me want to stop by the shop and just "drill baby drill!"

Sorry to bring up an old thread but, has anyone found out if the 2013's retain water? Should I just drill it to be safe?

Default Heading out to drill NOW!

I purchased my Jeep last year Sep and it arrived here on Guam in Mar. I am just now seeing these marks you all are describing... Nevertheless, the drill is fired up!

Great, simple fix. I've got a black JKU and it would drive me nuts after getting it washed.
