I don't believe the 2011's still have the issue. I have not seen it happen on mine yet.

I confirm, looks like the 2011 mirror issue no longer exists. Gave it a bath and tried to fill those mirrors, not a single drip. So either it holds water and doesn't leak it, or it's sealed.

yea ditto don't see any water. Can someone take a video of what it looks like?

I previously owned a 2008 JK and after a wash, you will see water spots on the door and hinges below both mirrors. A lot of water... And you may continue to see more spots days after that bath. It continued for so many days I considered it magical. If I was ever stranded in the dessert with my JK, I could survive weeks with the amount of water those mirrors held.

After you drill the holes in the mirrors, problem solved.

Just drilled my 2011 JKU and out came water, so I can confirm the issue still exists on the new models. But not on mine any more!!!
